We are proud to launch the Center by co-hosting the 2026 Power and Privilege Symposium in collaboration with Prof. Tamara Bhalla (UMBC). The symposium brings together scholars whose research is attuned to intersectional formations of power, dominance, and complicity. This symposium will deepen engagements across the diaspora, build connections between scholars of various career stages, and workshops scholarship that will be considered for an upcoming edited collection on critical South Asian American Studies.
